What?  Discipleship inflation?!?!

We are all learning more about inflation.  The cost of gas, food, utilities, cars, building supplies, etc.  are all going up.  Inflation is reminding us that nothing is free and everything is getting more expensive.

Well, being a disciple of Jesus Christ has a cost to it…and it is going up all the time.

There is nothing cheap about God’s love, grace, mercy or peace.  Sure, we believe in “free grace,” but does that mean we are entitled, or have no responsibility, or we do nothing.  Absolutely not!!!

There is a COST TO DISCIPLESHIP and that is the heart of Peter’s message to us this coming Sunday.  From I Peter 4:12 – 19 we will learn that because Jesus has paid it all for our salvation, we are to give our all for Him.
