GRACE CHAPEL WILL HAVE OUR IN-PERSON SERVICE THIS SUNDAY.
But we need everyone to be aware of the recent uptick of covid positive tests in the last 10 days. We know of about 15 Grace Chapel people who have been diagnosed with covid with a variety of symptoms. We also know of several more who have self-quarantined because of their exposure.
So we will be restoring our previous covid precautions: sanitizing the room, wearing masks, social distancing the chairs, no hugging during the service, and availability of hand sanitizers.
And we need each Grace Chapel person to wisely decide if they should come to in-person worship or not. That wisdom should take into consideration whether they have been vaccinated or not, what exposure they have had with the virus, their age and physical limitations, and their general well-being.
We will be streaming the service on our Facebook website.
DAVID AND LAURA NELSON WILL BE INTERVIEWED DURING THE MESSAGE PART OF THE SERVICE SUNDAY. They have been made fully aware of the increase of covid cases at Grace Chapel, but they really want to visit Grace Chapel again. As many of you know, David and Laura are missionaries in Mexico and they have been instrumental in our commitment to build a church in Puerto Angel. An effort was made for Pastor Oscar, the pastor of the church in Puerto Angel, and his family to visit us on this Sunday, but they had complications in securing their passports and visas. To make matters worse, both Pastor Oscar and his wife got covid the other week.
