Sunday Worship & the Word

THIS COMING SUNDAY WE WILL BE SERVING COMMUNION.

In many churches around the world, this is called WORLD WIDE COMMUNION SUNDAY.  It has been a set Sunday for many years when all Christians, no matter your denomination or nation,
can celebrate the truth that Jesus is Lord and Savior.

The verse I will use to prepare us for taking Communion is,
of course, from I Peter.
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness.”
(I Peter 2:24)

A RESTART FOR SMALL GROUPS

Also during the service this coming Sunday we will hear from leaders of small groups at Grace Chapel.  Some of the small groups have been going on all along, some of them are restarts, and some of them are new.

We will be encouraging everyone at Grace Chapel to be in a small group.  We need to “one another” more.  You know…”love one another”…”pray for one another”…”forgive one another”…”bear one another’s burdens”…”encourage one another”…etc.  Getting together on Sunday doesn’t do that.  This is one of the primary purposes of our small groups.
